The Extech UM200 is a high-performance micro-ohm meter engineered for professionals who require precise measurement of very low resistance values in electrical systems, components, and assemblies. Its measurement ranges span from a few micro-ohms up through kilo-ohms—with six selectable ranges and triple sub-ranges in each—enabling optimal resolution and accuracy for different test scenarios. The unit achieves resolution as fine as 1 µΩ, making it capable of detecting minute differences in contacts, winding resistance, and other critical connections. To support testing of both resistive and inductive components, the meter offers auto or manual ranging modes, a 5-digit backlit LCD for clear readouts, and a built-in comparator for setting upper/lower threshold limits for pass/fail judgments. Users can store up to 3,000 measurements internally, and there is a PC interface for data logging and further analysis.
