The Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments is a vocationally related qualification and is focused on reducing hair growth and photo rejuvenation of the skin using intense pulse light and laser treatments. This qualification enables you to develop skills to carry out IPL and laser treatments. You will need to bring your own products to do this course (Gloves, Aprons, Couch rolls, Tissue box, laser gel, Spf50, Aloe Vera gel, Goggles) Hair removal (diode, Alexandrite) – red-spectrum lasers → use green-lens (red-blocking) goggles. Vascular treatments (KTP, Nd:YAG 532 nm) – green-spectrum lasers → use red/orange-lens (green-blocking) goggles.
